The most practical measurement for railway track relative geometry and rail profile is the use of trolleys. Thanks to measurement precision and powerful software, all the measurement data can be analysed in office environment in all its aspects, and equivalent taper calculations can be conducted. During the measurement, position/defect can be identified at the press of a single button and the measurement of a specific point can be recorded. To this end, our staff were given a six-day office and field training in December 2018 by visiting GRAW experts from Poland.
